Indigo puts parking at the crossroads of mobility and deploys all resources to meet the needs of all. In order to adapt to the arrival of new residents — related to the development of the future Sycomore eco-neighbourhood with its 4,500 homes —, the town has launched its project for a station centre, which comprises, inter alia, a second entrance to the RER station.
In order to improve the quality of service, Indigo, who is now in charge of operating the park and ride car park, in collaboration with the local authorities of Marne-et-Gondoire and the STIF, has directed works carried out on the park and ride car park. The work consisted, in particular, in renovating the car park lighting network, 3 storeys of the park and the reception area; creating a lift and 10 spaces reserved for recharging electric cars; putting in place road signs inside and outside the park and ride car park; and reconfiguring reception for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
When the car park was taken over, Indigo also developed a promotional offer with one month free on offer for a 3-month subscription and a preferential rate for public transport users in possession of a Navigo Pass. Lastly, to simplify the subscription formalities, the future subscribers no longer have to pay a deposit for their car park access card. This project, valorised by the contribution of the know-how of Indigo’s multi-disciplinary teams, has helped to increase the frequentation rate (+ 30%) and reinforce the appeal of the Bussy-Saint- Georges Park and ride car park.
